Dr Andrew Mackintosh

Dr Andrew Mackintosh has many years of experience and considerable expertise in gynaecological surgery. Under-graduate medical training was completed at the University of Otago and Wellington Hospital (NZ). His post-graduate training was at National Women's Hospital in Auckland (NZ) and at Hillingdon, Poole and St. Thomas' Hospital in London (UK).

He worked at National Women's Hospital as a gynaecological surgeon and gynaecological oncology surgeon until 1999. He now practices at Ascot, Auckland and is a specialist at the Women's Cancer Centre of New Zealand.

Dr Mackintosh is fully trained in gynaecological laparoscopic surgery and is a member of the International Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy.


Dr Hilary Liddell

Dr Hilary Liddell completed medical training at the University of Auckland Medical School, Auckland, New Zealand. Post-graduate training in obstetrics & gynaecology was carried out at National Women’s Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand; St Mary’s Samaritan Hospital, Paddington, London, UK and The Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester, UK.

Since 1999 she has been working at Ascot focusing on developing a gynaecological surgical practice especially in advanced laparoscopic surgery for all grades of endometriosis as well as the laparoscopic approach to other gynaecological problems such as menstrual disorders and pelvic and vaginal reconstruction. Other areas of interest also include: general gynaecological surgery – both laparoscopic, vaginal and abdominal, appearance gynaecology and colposcopy.
